Terms of Service · Effective September 15, 2026
By using TempVeil, you agree to these rules. They define what the service can do, which actions may lead to suspension, and the reliability limits of temporary addresses, forwarding endpoints, and delivery records.
Temporary addresses may expire, and email delivery may be affected by external systems. Permanent reachability is not guaranteed.
Make sure you have the right to use the addresses, content, and test systems you submit, and protect your access tokens.
Spam, fraud, rate-limit evasion, malicious scanning, and violations of others’ rights are not allowed.
Do not rely on a temporary mailbox for account recovery, contracts, financial records, or irreplaceable information.
You must have the legal capacity to accept these terms in your location and use the service only as permitted by applicable law. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, stop using the temporary email service and leave the forwarding workspace. Continuing to access or use the features constitutes acceptance of the current version of these terms.
TempVeil provides short-term receiving addresses, in-browser email reading, address extensions and replacements, plus logged-in public aliases, email forwarding records, and two-step verification. Specific features, capacity, and retention periods may change to meet security and operational needs.
Temporary email requires no registration and is accessed with a random token; the forwarding workspace uses an email verification code to sign in. Your access token is like a key, so avoid sharing or exposing it.
The service is intended for legitimate development, quality assurance, privacy separation, and low-risk communication. The list below clarifies the boundaries and does not replace applicable law.
You are responsible for controlling your login email, browser sessions, temporary mailbox tokens, and authenticator keys. If you discover unauthorized use, immediately end the session, delete the affected endpoint, and contact support.
Never provide verification codes or one-time passwords to anyone. We will not email you asking you to click a login link, and we will never ask for your full token or authenticator key.
You retain rights to content you lawfully submit and grant us the limited permissions needed to receive, display, forward, security-scan, and troubleshoot it. You warrant that you have the right to submit and process the relevant data.
Emails may contain third-party links, attachments, or statements. We do not endorse third-party content. Assess the source and risks yourself before opening external links or downloading attachments.
We work to keep the service running, but do not guarantee continuous, error-free operation or delivery of every email. Sending servers, DNS, spam filtering, network delays, attachment policies, and recipient systems can all affect results.
Temporary addresses expire, forwarding aliases may be paused or deleted, and delivery records are cleared on a schedule. Save important emails separately in a controlled long-term mailbox or records system.
| Service component | What we provide | What we do not guarantee |
|---|---|---|
| Temporary mailbox | Receiving and reading during the validity period | A permanent address or permanent storage |
| Email forwarding | Forwarding attempts based on current alias settings | Guaranteed acceptance by third-party servers |
| Delivery records | Status and message-body viewing for a limited period | Permanent, audit-grade archiving |
| Security features | Verification codes, tokens, and optional 2FA | Eliminating all account risks |
We may set reasonable limits on request frequency, mailbox counts, alias counts, message size, attachments, and retention periods. These limits protect the performance of the shared service and other users’ normal access.
Do not bypass limits through automation, proxy pools, multiple accounts, or other methods. Unusually high load may be temporarily throttled, rejected, or subject to additional verification.
If we reasonably believe that use is illegal, threatens security, infringes rights, creates operational risk, or violates these terms, we may suspend or terminate access and delete related endpoints. Immediate risks may require action without advance notice.
You may stop using the service, delete aliases, and end your session at any time. After termination, remaining data is handled according to our privacy notice and technical cleanup schedule.
TempVeil’s interface, brand, code, and service materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for ordinary use of the service, these terms transfer no related ownership rights to you.
We may use improvement suggestions you voluntarily provide to enhance the service, without creating confidentiality or compensation obligations. Do not submit confidential information belonging to a third party that you have no right to share.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties not expressly stated. We do not guarantee that the service is fit for a particular purpose, completely secure, or uninterrupted.
Development and testing results are troubleshooting aids, not substitutes for production monitoring, compliance archiving, or professional security audits. You should establish additional controls and backups based on your business risks.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities. Where some jurisdictions do not allow all limitations, they apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You are responsible for claims arising from your breach of these terms, unlawful use, or infringement of third-party rights. Nothing in any liability arrangement excludes consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Disputes should first be submitted to support@tempveil.com for a good-faith attempt at resolution. Applicable law, courts, and mandatory consumer-protection rules will be determined by the legal requirements applicable to the operating entity and your location.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Delaying enforcement of a right does not constitute a permanent waiver of that right.
We may update these terms and change the effective date when features, security risks, or legal requirements change. Material changes will receive reasonable notice on the website.
Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. If you disagree, stop using the service and delete any unneeded endpoints before the effective date.
For service issues, abuse reports, or questions about these terms, email support@tempveil.com. When reporting abuse, provide the relevant address, time, and minimum verifiable details; do not forward unrelated sensitive content.
We may send service notices through website announcements or the login email you provide. Security verification emails do not contain login links.
